A non ionic surfactant (also known as a wetting agent or spreader/sticker) is a type of chemical additive that acts as a buffer, breaking up the surface tension of a liquid. In lawn weed control, surfactants added to the solution to help the product stick to the sprayer surface better and is used to help breakdown the plant’s resistance in absorbing the chemical being applied to it, ideal for use in grass maintenance. CONTAINS: 80% non-ionic Surfactant.
Southern Ag Surfactant should be used in combination with an herbicide spray to increase herbicide effectiveness by reducing surface tension of water so that herbicides can penetrate the soil and kill weeds more effectively. This wetting agent can be used in combination with almost any other herbicide spray including: Trimec, Atrazine, Brush Killer and 2, 4-D Amine. It is advised to check the product label first to ensure products are compatible.
