Southern Ag Thuricide BT Caterpillar and Worm insecticide, agitate regularly while spraying. Use all of spray mixture within 24 hours. Fruits and vegetables: mix 1.5 fluid ounces per 3 gallons water (1 tablespoon per gallon) for a hand sprayer and apply to all plant foliage to cover an area of 1,000 square feet. Shade Trees & Ornamentals: Mix 2 fluid ounces per 3 gallons of water (4 teaspoons per gallon) for a hand sprayer or proportional amounts for a hose-end sprayer following manufacturer’s directions.
These insects can destroy your garden, making it a priority to clear them out as soon as they are found. Apply at the first sign of infestation and then reapply at 5 to 7 day intervals for caterpillar removal. This can be applied up to an on the day of harvest and Thuricide must be carried into the insects gut while feeding, and after ingesting, the worms will stop feeding and will die. We had put diatomaceous earth on leaves and dirt in the tomato patch and the bracilicus. It made a major difference but he was still pulling
between 7-10 tomatoo horn worms a day still. We used this about 6 days ago. The numbers were slowing down and the damage was slowing down to minumalfrom the DE before this was applied. No more new damage or worms after 4 days of using this. We will be buying more of this.
